so very thankful

The top 10 I'm so very thankful for this year:
The hubs (aka the ginger; aka Scott)
Getting married to him was the best thing to happen to me this year!

 My parents
I'm lucky to have such amazing parents that have taught me with their example what kind of life I should lead.

My siblings
They are my best friends and no one makes me laugh more than them.

Fantastic in-laws
I'm super lucky that my in-laws are just like my own family. Not everyone has good in-laws so I'm extra grateful that I have the best!!

Friends
Scott and I really have the best group of friends. They are like family and I love them.

$$$
Not in the bling bling way but the practical way. I'm thankful that Scott and I have money enough to put a roof over our heads, food in the pantry, gas in the car, extra in our savings, & still enough left over to have little fun.
(this is us having fun at the BYU Football game)

Health
Besides a few colds (& kidney stones on Scotts part) we are a healthy couple with no major health problems.
Books
I just love to read!
(these are some of my favorite books that I own)

Sparkly Lights
I know a weird thing to be thankful for but regardless the season or the form the lights come in, sparkly lights always make me happy. Strung up on trees in the backyard for outdoor spring & summer fun; weddings with a ceiling of lights; chandeliers with lights refracting from all the crystals; and all the houses and trees aglow for Christmas!

Individuality
I'm thankful to have my own style, quirks, and ideas. I love being different! :-)

  1. This is me reading your blog. So take that! Also - HURRAY FOR BOOKS! But you're wasting your fun money on worthless pursuits... clearly.
