Dear Diary

So I found an old diary of mine when I was 13 & 14 (7th & 8th grade [Jr. High]for those who don't know). A lot of it was cracking me up! It's funny to see how I thought at that age. The majority of the entries were about boys....which I guess is about right for that age. Here are some of the highlights:

Nov 27, 1991- Today at lunch my boyfriend Matt came up and put his arm around me...holy embarrassing!

May 25, 1992- Jon Wilson, my 9th grade boyfriend, kissed me today. I missed his mouth. It was soooo embarrassing! After we kissed I ran off.

May 26, 1992- I watched Toy Soldiers with Sean Asten in it today. He's soooooooooo cute! He has muscles and a cute face and a nice body! Oh my gosh everything is perfect about him! I kiss him on the TV. He's just too cute for words.

May 27, 1992- Nothing much happened today except in 5th period some boys would not quit grabbing me...I swear!

May 28, 1992- People say I talk to much so maybe I'll stop.

April 29, 1993-My m0m is a dork. She wants me to be perfect. Doesn't she know it's hard to do the right thing with all the temptations! I mean I try and all.

May 22, 1993- You know what, I think my boobs are actually growing!!

May 23, 1993- Heather (my sister) laid out today and got burnt. She's gonna ache tomorrow and I'm going to hit her.

May 8, 1993- I don't think Kyle likes me. I really like him. Maybe I annoy him. I talk to him a lot. I think I'll stop talking to him for awhile. Maybe he'll like me more.
**i think i tried this ploy as an adult as well...**

May 29, 1993- Heather had some guys come over today and 1 left his jacket. I went through it.

June 8, 1993- Jesse Richardson kissed my forehead today. He is so cute! Gosh I really want to go out with him!

June 9, 1993- Jesse Richardson asked me out today. I said yes. He is so cute! I can't wait to kiss him! (Me and Jesse, he was my first skater boyfriend)

June 11, 1993- Jesse and I talk on the phone everyday for hours at a time! I love to talk to him on the phone, we talk about everything.

June 15, 1993- I'm used to Jesse now. I'm kinda sick of him, we talk every day and it gets boring.

June 16, 1993- I like the song Creep.

June 28, 1993- Me and Jesse broke up. Last night we talked. He asked me where we were going. I told him I didn't understand the question (even though I did). He said in our relationship. I told him I didn't know. Then awhile later he asked me again. We both agreed we weren't getting anywhere.

July 14, 1993- Mike, the boy who's living with my befri Rosalind, likes me. He kissed me today. He's 19, I'm only 14 (in a half). I'm not ready for an intense relationship, especially with an older guy! I was scared the whole time. I mean he's a professional!

July 26, 1993- I laughed so hard I threw up.

Concerts

So I went to the Katy Perry concert last night, which FYI, was rockin! I was kinda amazed at how many beeyotches were there though. I know when some people get their concert face on they get mean...heck I've been known to be mean myself once in awhile. When I went to Cobra Starship a couple years ago some drunk chick kept bumping into me and spilling her beer on me when she had plenty of space to stay away from me....I said a few words that weren't nice to her, but I don't think I went out of my way to be a snatch...well maybe I did a little bit :-) In fact I would expect some hard ass's at a rock or punk concert, but not at Katy Perry. I mean she's pop. Her songs are funny and upbeat. On stage she's silly and humorous. She in no way inspires any angst or anger in a person. So why were some girls threatening to punch people who ran into them? Or be so rude and think that your the only one who would like some personal space and get in the face of people who are just trying to watch the show? Also, what's with people who won't let you slip past them?? It's not like we want your special spot you've staked claim to and must own. News flash!! Your at a concert!! There are few guarantee's that you can expect at a show: no personal space, bumping, feet stepped on, stinky people, sweaty people, people moving around and trying to get by you and I'm sure a few more I'm forgetting. So a few tips: When someone tries to get by you and their saying "sorry, excuse me", let them by, I promise you there will still be room for you in your special spot. It's also good to remember that everyone is there to have a good time and see a band they like, just like you. I'm glad my friends get that and know how to just have a good time.
