Head! Pants! Now!

Why I love Scotland and want to go there uber bad:

1. Nessie. You can't deny her existence! She is real and will reveal herself to me when I go there someday. Just look at this concrete proof of her existence:
2. Kilts. Seriously how hot would my ginger be in a kilt!?! He really does have the sexiest legs! Plus a man in a kilt is just yummy and dirty cause all you can think about is if they are wearing underwear??? Also, I look very good in plaid.
3. Gerard Butler. I don't need to say more on that.
4. Castles. I bet the country side is full of em!! Every where you look there will be castles upon castles!! I just love old buildings! Plus it would be way fun to go and stay in one and pretend I'm a princess and order people around and maybe fight someone with a sword.
5. History. Did you know they have a village, Skara Brae, that dates to 4,000 B.C.!!! How cool is that!?! (Is that a castle I see in the distance of these ruins?? Castle theory confirmed!)
6. Cathedrals. This goes along with the theme of the last two. I just can't get enough of old buildings and history! Maybe I love it so much, cause I feel like the US got gypped a bit cause we're a newer nation. I don't think we have near enough gargoyles and stain glass in this country.
7. Bagpipes. Just hauntingly beautiful. I bet you can hear bagpipes in the evening breeze every night in Scotland.
8. Scottish Terrier. They don't shed! Plus their uber cute! I really really want one someday.
9. Scott. Scotland has the name Scott in it so it automatically makes it a prime location.
How can you not love a country with so much awesomeness bursting from it?? I'm reading the history of Scotland right now and when I finish I think Scott should take me. In fact everyone should tell him to take me as a reward for reading such a big book and for putting him on my list of what makes the country great :-)

I-Phone Addict

I had to get a new I-Phone recently because they don't make these beautiful little gadgets drop proof, toilet proof, or just plain ol' klutz proof. It's annoying because I-Phones are not cheap and I think that if you spend money on something it should last as long as you want said product...I don't think that's too much to ask. Having my phone out of commission for a day has made me come to the realization that I am totally addicted to my phone and can in no way live without it! It's so bad that I actually made myself physically ill stressing about my phone the day it broke. I had to call in sick the next day for both sickness and because it took me a whole day to get my phone back to what I wanted it to be. Now I'm sure some of you are thinking "Wow! Your a nutter!", but I say nay! I may be addicted to my wondrous little phone, but I have good reasons...and here they are:

1. Contacts- Since we live in a day and age where you don't ever have to actually dial a number, I have no clue what anyone's number is without my phone...excluding my parents (because that number has never changed) and my sister Becky's. I wouldn't even be able to call my boyfriend of almost 2 years without my contact list! Not texting or calling him a few million times a day would be tragic indeed!

2. Calendar- My memory has never been very good. I write down everything that I'm supposed to be doing or want to be doing with my friends, family, church, concerts, dentist, etc. into my phone. If I lost that calendar I would probably become a hermit, because I wouldn't know what activity I was supposed to be doing and would just give up on life.

3. Lists- I have a handy lil notebook on my phone that I make lists on. I have lists of the 300 workout I need to do to look good, movies I own (which I would totally be buying duplicates without this list), songs I want to download, present ideas to buy Scott, plus like 10 other necessary lists. Lists are necessary to an overly organized girl!

4. WW Calorie Counter- I put in my food and it tells me how much I can eat that day...it's handy and it's helped me lose 15 pounds. I would probably be a fatty without this app on my I-Phone, and nobody wants that because then I would be cranky.

5. Maps- I have a handy app on my phone that helps me find any store, bank, building, or whatever I want and whats closest to me. It helps find movie theaters and whats playing. Restaurants, that I just put in what genre I'm in the mood for and pulls up a list! It's like I'm a superhero with this app! I can find anything anywhere!!

6. Weather- Since I don't watch TV, this app is handy for me to know if I need an umbrella walking to work the next day...or if I need to wear my snowboots...or if I need to know what the weather will be in a city I plan on going to visit. If you break it down this is that app that helps me get dressed for what the day will bring me.

7. Staying Connected- I can get onto Facebook, Twitter, Texts, IM, Internet, YouTube & GMail from my phone. I can stay connected to the universe with a push of a button!! Now that's legendary!

8. Pictures- I can capture any awesome moment at any time and make it into a fun artsy looking picture right from phone! Unless the pic requires a flash...than I'm out of luck there, but someday my friend, my I-Phone will be able to flash!

9. Shazam- Oh, you don't know what that song is?! Well let me push this handy button that will read the song and send a signal to space that lets me know what that song is! AMAZING!

10. Games- There is no such thing as boredom when you have a plethora of fun, mind boggling games at your fingertips!

11. Christmas- Wondering how long it is till next Christmas?? No problem! I have an app that count's it down...a truly glorious thing!

**Sigh** I love you I-Phone! :-)
