writing it all down

I love my journal! I wouldn't say I'm the best at keeping up on it and writing everything down, but I try. I'm not an everyday writer, or even an every week writer, but I do try to write in it at least once or twice a month, plus all my fun collages and pictures I paste in! I feel like when my kids, or even when I myself will read back on whats in it, I don't want it to be about the mundane everyday stuff. I want to read about my favorite events or what my most trying situations were. That's why I don't feel the need for everyday writing, I'm sure my future generations will have A.D.D. like me and just want the highlights. :-) Here are some examples of how I journal:(Life's bucket list)

(Church notes)

(Events with my thoughts)

(Poems I write and puffy paint)

(Quotes)
**Note I do write real journal entries, I'm just not going to post pictures of that so you can enlarge and read my deepest secrets!! Also, I pretty much use puffy paint or colorful gel pens on every page...It's my favorite!!

Anyway, I just got a new journal this last week and every time I walk by it in my room I'm so excited to start writing in it! I think that's key when you go journal shopping. You need to find one that inspires you and makes you want to use it. I think it's interesting how every time I get a new journal it coincides with me starting a new chapter in my life. This last journal I just finished began with me preparing and going through the Temple for my first time. This journal will begin with me preparing and marrying my love Scott. I find the best journals are skcetch books, cause I hate lined paper for journals, I don't like to be confined by lines.
I also already have future journals waiting to be used. This one below I got from one of my best friends Alex for Christmas. I was going to use it for myself, but I think it will be the perfect journal for my future little boy. I want to start a journal for each of my kids until they can write in it themselves. I will write about the cute things they do, paste in their art work, and express over and over how much I love them. I absolutely loved when my mum would read me her journal entries about me. It made me feel special.

PS- Does anyone know how to print blog posts? I may want to add some to my journal sometimes.
