Going to chain restaurants is one of my least favorite things to do. Of course I do it once in awhile, but I don't see the purpose of going to chain restaurant when you live in a city that offers so much more! I love the out of the way places that are cute and quaint; especially if the food is super yummy! Recently I discovered a new restaurant up in North Salt Lake. Actually it's a restaurant, kitchen store, & art gallery called
Thyme & Seasons. The thing that really makes this place awesome though is Chef Hai!
I've never been to a place that the chef will actually come out to your table and find out what you like, go back and make it himself (which there is a window to the kitchen so you can watch him work if you want), then have him serve it to you.
This man definitely has charisma and he makes such tasty food! I went there 3 times within a week and left feeling super satisfied every time! He promised he wouldn't make me fat by eating there so much though...I like those kind of promises :-)

I forgot to take pictures of my Philly Cheese Steak and cheese cake that I ate. Both super tasty!!
Very cool. I want to try this place. Is it a certain type of food?
