guilty obsession


For the record I like to be with my husband ALL the time.
He really is the cutest!
But I kinda love when he does stuff with the boys and I get the TV to myself to watch my guilty pleasure shows that he won't watch with me.
Shows such as:

Ghost Whisperer. This show scares me and makes me cry....every. single. time.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Seriously how did I not watch this show when it was first on?!? Angel in all his brooding sexiness, hello!! I just finished the first season and the way they talk and dress crack me up a bit.

Jem and the Holograms. Just classic! I'm on the search for their music tape. I had one growing up and I'm pretty sure I need to sing my heart out to it once more. (Note: the tape has to have Jealousy & Who Is He Kissing...they were my favorites)
 
Once Upon A Time. Before the season ended. So good! This is why it's best to wait for a series to end then you can watch it all as fast or slow as you want on Netflix. I hate waiting for the next season!!

Americas Next Top Model. Here's the thing, I don't think I'm a supermodel, but every time I watch the show I sooo think I could take the pics so awesome and win every season!! I could also be a super awesome judge. The end.

The next series I have plans to look into are The X-files and My So Called Life. If you have any other suggestions let me know!

Ps- Netflix and DVR are the best inventions ever!
I don't like planning my life around TV shows and I like to be doing stuff during daylight hours so I missed out on lots of good viewing over the years. Now I get to relax late at night to whatever show I want to watch!!

It really is a modern day miracle.

(PS- I really did take that pic during one of my alone-TV-watching-a-thons and I may look a little tense because I was watching Ghost Whisperer and scary things were afoot!)

    tell me about Buffy! i was obsessed with vampire because of this show (and i think i'm still kind of obsessed. duh). angel was so dang cool.

    and oh yes, Once Upon A Time! i can't wait for the next season. i just finished The Mentalist season 1-4. and now i'm so dang curios! who is this Red John??? please come season 5.

    Haha I love a little time to myself on occasion. These shows are the greatest. My guilty pleasure is Americas Next Top Model too. So addicting!

      Did you see the British version? It was a little weird but I still watched the entire season.

      I saw the British Invasion one with the Brits vs US, but I haven't seen just the British ones. I need to look into though cause I've just learned they do Top Model all over the world! I had no idea and I'm super curious how their shows are compared to ours.

    My So Called Life is great, as well as Parks and Recreation if you haven't seen all the episodes yet. I waste too much time on Netflix!

      I've heard Parks and Rec is good. I may have to look into that one with the hubs. I'm sure he'd want to check that out as well.

    I have to admit I watch none of these shows. haha but then again I have to go out of my way to watch anything. I don't have cable. i have a television and a dvd player. And books lots and lots of books. That isnt to say that I didnt watch like a whole season of America's next top model in one sitting at my BFF's house haha

      That was me before marrying my husband! He has to have the whole cable package, DVR, Netflix, etc. He has a hard time going to sleep at night and he hates reading so he watches sports or whatever TV series or movies I don't care to see. I'm not complaining though! It's so addicting!

    I have at least 3 Jem tapes. They are stored up in my parents attic. I collected the Holograms while my sister collected the Misfits.

    i love that you're a Jem fanatic!! i grew up watching that show. i had to fight for the remote with my brother to watch it. if i lost, it was WWF. but, of course, as an impressionable child, i grew to love WWF too.

    & i think the same way about ANTM!! hahah. i always say, "if i could just grow about 9 more inches, i could show them how to really smize and booty tooch!" ;)
